We hired Alina to help my son stay on track with his school work in his junior year of high school. My son is very smart, but has challenges with planning, prioritizing, organization, and accountability. Alina was fantastic! My son went from an underachiever getting Bs and Cs to a 4.1 his first semester of junior year. I only wish I'd found Alina sooner! I highly recommend hiring Alina if you have a child who needs help with these skills!

Alina has been a tremendous support for my daughter who struggles in several subjects. Alina is not only very patient, organized, but is easy to talk to and very friendly. This review is long over due, but we have been missing Alina so it's been on my mind to write a great review for her. Alina worked with my 13 year-old daughter for six months last year, and was fantastic. My daughter has ADHD and a math learning disability, and it's been difficult finding a math tutor that really gets how to work best with her. Alina started by doing a very thorough assessment of my daughter's strengths and weaknesses in math, and then put together an equally thorough learning plan. While tutoring my daughter, Alina used a variety of techniques to connect with my daughter and get her interested in learning math. We stopped working with Alina when she stopped working in the city we live in, and we miss her dearly. Alina is an extremely skilled, experienced and patient Educational Therapist / Math Tutor and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need!

Alina has been working with our son for over a year and we are quite pleased with the results. She has been integral in helping him get his assignments on track.
